New York

The Big Apple.
The Melting Pot.
Broadway is my goal.
I love that Great White Way and the City That Never Sleeps.
The stage is in my blood, and it's the one drug I won't give up- just ask my friends. Yep, you guessed it: small town girl with big city dreams. Think- 'Thoroughly Modern Millie' meets 'Sweet Charity' and 'Wicked'- misunderstood because of my profession, gets to the city, and once I get to the city, I don't know where to start.
Call me a 'starving artist', but hey, that's your label.
Mine? Try 'working starlet'.

The stage is my life. I've gone to Broadway shows from the time I was six, and been acting since I was about ten or so. So far, my acting career has included school plays, community productions, Chautauqua, choir, dance, Improv, and acting classes. No major films, no major shows, no commercials- I'm not a film actress, I'm all about the stage, baby. Give me a script, an award-winning score, a good (if not lead) role, stage makeup, thrift store costumes, jazz shoes, a rehearsal schedule, and an old theater, and I'm in heaven. Block my actions, give me liberty with my characters, hand me a paint brush, and shove me towards the composer, and I'm happy.

It's not just Broadway that I'm in love with. It's the whole state. All of New York. Well.... with the exception of Staten Island.... I've always loved New York. And.... I've always known that.... that I belong there.....

Whether it'll become a reality is another matter entirely.
